Description
These festive bars are gooey, colorful, and totally irresistible, perfect for spooky season parties or a fun weeknight bake with the kids!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Halloween Oreos, chopped
- 2 boxes French vanilla cake mix
- ½ cup (122 g) whole milk
- ½ cup (112 g) canola oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup (160 g) Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Prep a 13×9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Chop the Halloween Oreos into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle half across the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and milk using an electric mixer. The batter will be thick!
- Fold in the Halloween sprinkles and mix well.
- Carefully spread the batter over the Oreo base. Use a spatula sprayed with nonstick spray to gently smooth the top, making sure you reach all corners without moving the cookies.
- Press the remaining chopped Oreos into the top of the batter. Add another sprinkle of Halloween sprinkles for a festive finish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes. Check at the 20-minute mark using a toothpick, if it comes out clean, they’re done.
- Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Pro Tips: Swap in chocolate cake mix for extra chocolaty bars. Use any seasonal Oreos for different holidays! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temp for 3 days.
