Description
A scrumptious dish combining savory and sweet flavors, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fillets Salmon (6 oz each)
- 3 tablespoons Butter (Melted)
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley (Chopped, for garnish)
- Lemon slices (Optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Brush the glaze generously over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are fully coated for maximum flavor.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- For an extra caramelized finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley and optional lemon slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use wild-caught salmon. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freezing the raw fillets in the butter mixture is also an option for up to 2 months.
