- 1 batch Brown Butter and Maple Chewy Pumpkin Cookies
- White chocolate
- Black candy melts
- Piping bag
- Medium cookie scoop
- Light colored baking pans
Instructions
- Bake the pumpkin cookies according to your favorite recipe or using the batch from Butternut Bakery, then allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Melt the white chocolate, preferably using Ghirardelli melting wafers for a smooth finish.
- Once cookies are cool, spoon a dollop of melted white chocolate onto the center of each cookie and spread it to create a ghost shape.
- Let the white chocolate set and harden.
- Melt the black candy melts and pour it into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
- Pipe small dots for the eyes and a spooky mouth on each ghost cookie.
- Allow the candy melts to dry completely before enjoying your ghost cookies.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider mixing in chocolate chips or crushed nuts to the pumpkin cookie dough.
