Description

Delightful cookies combining classic chocolate chip cookie flavors with Halloween Oreos for a gooey, festive treat.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 & 3/4 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (more for topping)
  • 9 Halloween Oreos
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
  6. Scoop out a portion of the dough, flatten it slightly, place an Oreo in the center, and wrap the dough around it, rolling to seal.
  7. Place cookies onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top as soon as they come out of the oven.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days or freeze for longer storage.
