Delightful cookies combining classic chocolate chip cookie flavors with Halloween Oreos for a gooey, festive treat.

- 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 & 3/4 cups flour
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (more for topping)
- 9 Halloween Oreos
- 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
- Scoop out a portion of the dough, flatten it slightly, place an Oreo in the center, and wrap the dough around it, rolling to seal.
- Place cookies onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days or freeze for longer storage.
