Description

Delightful and creative Jack Skellington cake pops, perfect for Halloween parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 9 x 13 cake (Devil’s Food)
  • 2 tablespoons frosting (chocolate)
  • Black cookie icing
  • Candy melts (black and bright white)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Black and white striped washi tape

Instructions

  1. Cut the cake into quarters and place one quarter in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of frosting and mix until smooth, resembling play-dough.
  3. Measure out 1 tablespoon of the mixture and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
  4. Roll the mixture into smooth balls, forming approximately 10-12 cake balls.
  5. Chill the cake balls in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  6. Wrap washi tape around lollipop sticks at a 45-degree angle.
  7. Melt bright white candy melts in a bowl, stirring to keep smooth.
  8. Dip the stick into black candy melts and insert it halfway into each cake ball.
  9. Use black cookie icing to draw Jack Skellington’s face on each ball.

Notes

These cake pops are perfect for Halloween parties and can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. For best flavor, allow refrigerated pops to come back to room temperature before serving.
