- ½ tablespoon avocado oil
- 2 pounds steak, cut into small bite-sized pieces
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
- 6 cloves minced garlic
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- Green onion, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, stirring until well coated.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the avocado oil.
- Once hot, add the steak in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until nicely browned.
- Remove the steak from the pan, drain excess liquid, and add the butter or ghee.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Return the steak to the pan and cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring to coat in the garlic butter.
- Take the pan off the heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Serve hot, garnished with green onion.
Notes
Use high-quality cuts of steak for the best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the pan while searing to achieve a golden-brown crust.
