Description

These fun Oreo Spider Cookies are perfect for Halloween and are sure to impress your family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (dairy free)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 12 Oreo cookies (Halloween kind or double stuffed)
  • 36 pretzel sticks
  • 12 small candy eyeballs
  • 3 tablespoons sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Microwave for about a minute until fully melted.
  2. Break 3 pretzel sticks in half and twist the Oreo to remove the top wafer, leaving the cream side exposed. Insert the pretzel stick halves into the cream to make spider legs.
  3. Pour about 1/2 teaspoon of melted chocolate on top of the legs and gently press the blank Oreo wafer back down to seal the pretzel sticks.
  4. Dip one side of the cookie into the remaining melted chocolate. Place a few candy eyeballs on top and sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
  5. Chill the cookies in the fridge for at least 10 minutes to let the chocolate harden.

Notes

These cookies can be made in advance and are perfect for Halloween parties. Store in an airtight container.
