A quick and flavorful casserole that combines ground beef, zesty salsa, and gooey cheese wrapped in a fluffy crescent roll crust.

- 1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup thick and chunky salsa
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese or Mexican cheese blend
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and spray an 11 x 7-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish to form a crust.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease and stir in salsa to moisten the meat.
- Spoon the beef mixture over the crescent roll dough and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Cut into squares and serve with optional toppings.
Notes
Store leftovers tightly covered in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to two months.
