Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • A few small stems fresh dill
  • 10 capers
  • A few thin slices of red onion
  • 2 large slices bread (or 4 small slices of bread)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit.
  2. Scoop out the flesh and mash with a dash of salt and lemon juice.
  3. Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  4. Spread the avocado mash generously on the warm toast.
  5. Top with capers.
  6. Add a slice or two of smoked salmon.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh dill and thin slices of red onion.
  8. Serve immediately for the best experience!
