Description

A delightful balance of sweetness and heat, this Baked Honey Sriracha Lime Salmon is healthy and easy to prepare, making it perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large salmon or 4-6 individual (46 ounce) fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste (about 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup sriracha
  • 2 limes (one juiced, one sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste. Tuck lime slices under the edges of the salmon.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in honey, sriracha, lime juice, soy sauce, and garlic. Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour two-thirds of the sauce over the salmon.
  5. Fold up the edges of the foil around the salmon, leaving it partially open.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, then switch to broil and cook for 4-5 minutes until edges char slightly.
  7. Drizzle remaining sauce over salmon and sprinkle with cilantro before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the sauce for 30 minutes before baking. Adjust sriracha to taste for spice preference.
