- 1 onion (chopped)

- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic until soft.
- Add the sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in the black beans, rice, cumin, paprika, and broth, and mix well.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper, stir, and serve hot garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
