Decadent cookies blending tender dough with white chocolate and cherry filling for a sweet and tart experience.
Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 7 ounces white chocolate
- 3.4 fluid ounces heavy cream
- 10.5 ounces cherry jam (strained) or cherry jelly
- 1–2 tablespoons cherry schnapps (optional)
- 3.5 ounces milk or dark chocolate
- A small handful of chopped dark chocolate for sprinkling
Instructions
- Knead together the dough ingredients until they form a smooth mass. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
- Finely chop white chocolate, boil heavy cream, and pour over the chocolate. Stir until melted and chill the filling for a few hours.
- Preheat oven to 320°F (or 356°F for conventional ovens). Roll out dough and cut circles, cutting a hole in half of them. Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cool.
- Melt dark chocolate and dip cookies with holes in it, sprinkling with chopped chocolate. Let dry.
- Beat the chilled cream and pipe onto cookies without holes. Warm cherry jam/jelly and fill the centers of these cookies.

Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat slightly in the microwave before serving.
