Description

A delightful dish featuring shrimp and salmon in a rich garlic cream sauce, seasoned with Cajun flavors for a taste of Louisiana.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer; stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  6. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Return the cooked salmon to the skillet to heat through.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, sear the salmon skin-side down first. You can also add a splash of white wine after sautéing the garlic for an extra flavor boost.
