Description

Delightful cheesecake bars with a buttery graham cracker crust, spiced apples, and luscious caramel sauce, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in the diced apples and sprinkle in the cinnamon, then pour the cream cheese blend over the crust in the baking dish.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the cheesecake mixture.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and no longer jiggly.
  8. Allow to cool before refrigerating for at least 2 hours. Serve chilled.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the apple mixture. Toast some chopped nuts to sprinkle on top before serving for a delightful crunch.
