A warm and comforting cheesy baked tortellini casserole loaded with meat sauce and topped with gooey mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

- 1 (20oz) container of refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (24oz) jar of pasta sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1–2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated or shredded parmesan
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until fully cooked.
- Drain excess grease, then stir in pasta sauce and cream cheese until smooth.
- Fold the cooked tortellini into the beef mixture, ensuring they are well-coated in sauce.
- Transfer everything to the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown; broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider including sautéed vegetables or swapping ground beef for spicy Italian sausage. Leftovers can be stored covered in the fridge for up to three days.
