Description
Adorable Chocolate Cauldrons filled with creamy pudding and sprinkles, perfect for Halloween parties!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–6 ounces melted and tempered semi-sweet chocolate or melted dark cocoa candy melts
- 4 chocolate pudding cups (14 ounces total)
- 6 Halloween Oreo Cookies
- 2 vanilla pudding cups (7 ounces total)
- Green food coloring
- Light and dark green sugar pearls
- Candy eyes
- Bone sprinkles
Instructions
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of chocolate into each cauldron cavity in your candy mold.
- Spread the chocolate into a thin, even layer all around the mold, ensuring it’s thick enough so you can’t see through it.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes if using semi-sweet chocolate, or in the freezer if using candy melts.
- Once hardened, turn molds upside down and gently tap to release the chocolate shells.
- Place a baking sheet over a burner and heat for 20 seconds on gas or 40 seconds on electric.
- Set one half of a cauldron on the hot pan to melt the edge and stick it to another half. Hold them together for about a minute.
- Let them sit for a few minutes to harden completely.
- Use a heated round metal cookie cutter to press down atop a cauldron to create openings for filling.
- Fill each cauldron with layers of chocolate pudding, crushed Halloween Oreo cookies, colored vanilla pudding, and top with sugar pearls and candy eyes.
Notes
Ensure chocolate is tempered well to avoid breakage; customize fillings as desired for added fun.
