Description

A delightful spread of easy-to-make finger food appetizers perfect for your Christmas gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Mini bruschetta: Fresh baguette, diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olive oil.
  • Stuffed mushrooms: Button mushrooms, cream cheese, garlic, herbs, and breadcrumbs.
  • Caprese skewers: Cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, basil leaves, and balsamic glaze.
  • Vegetable spring rolls: Rice paper wrappers, assorted veggies (like bell peppers and carrots), and a dipping sauce.
  • Deviled eggs: Hard-boiled eggs, mayo, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Cheese platter: Variety of cheeses (cheddar, brie, gouda), crackers, sliced fruits, and nuts.
  • Shrimp cocktail: Cooked shrimp, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges.

Instructions

  1. For mini bruschetta, slice the baguette and toast until golden. Top with a mixture of diced tomatoes, minced garlic, fresh basil, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. For stuffed mushrooms, clean mushrooms, remove stems, and mix cream cheese, herbs, garlic, and breadcrumbs. Stuff mushrooms and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes until golden.
  3. For caprese skewers, alternate cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and basil leaves on skewers. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
  4. For vegetable spring rolls, soften rice paper in warm water, then roll up assorted veggies. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
  5. For deviled eggs, boil eggs, cool and peel. Cut in half, mix yolks with mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper, and fill the whites with the mixture.
  6. For the cheese platter, arrange cheese varieties, crackers, fruits, and nuts on a large board.
  7. For shrimp cocktail, serve chilled shrimp with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.

Notes

Store appetizers in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Many can be prepared a day in advance, keeping them chilled until serving.
