Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • For the streusel topping:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  5. Prepare the streusel topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  6. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  7. Sprinkle the streusel mixture generously over the batter.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
