Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until smooth.
  5. On low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the coarsely chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets and slightly flatten them.
