Description
A quick and flavorful salmon dish with a sweet and tangy honey garlic glaze, ready in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by measuring out all your ingredients and mincing the garlic.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until nicely combined.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Gently flip each salmon fillet and pour the honey garlic glaze over the fish. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon.
- Once done, remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, let the salmon sear undisturbed for a few minutes. Maple syrup can be used as a honey substitute.
