Description

A hearty bowl of Crockpot Cheeseburger Soup packed with flavor and nutrients, reminiscent of a cheeseburger in soup form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 3 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Optional toppings: croutons, diced pickles, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
  2. In a crockpot, combine the cooked beef, onion, garlic, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese and heavy cream, cooking for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, topped with croutons, pickles, or green onions as desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider experimenting with optional ingredients like jalapeños or extra vegetables.
