Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
- 1.74 oz dry gravy mix (2 packets)
- 1 pound potatoes (halved, peeled if preferred)
- 1 cup chicken broth or water (optional)
Instructions
- Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker in a single layer for even cooking.
- Add halved potatoes to the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup with dry gravy packets until smooth.
- Add chicken broth or water if more gravy is desired.
- Pour the gravy mixture over chicken and potatoes to cover thoroughly.
- Cook on low for 4 hours, avoiding lifting the lid.
- Remove potatoes and mash with butter, adding milk for creaminess if desired.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and serve over mashed potatoes, drizzling with additional gravy.
Notes
For added flavor, consider browning the chicken before cooking. Experiment with spices and switch potatoes for cauliflower for a lower-carb option.
