Description
A hands-off, flavor-packed comfort food masterpiece that layers frozen cheese ravioli with savory meat sauce and melty cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain the excess fat and return the beef to the skillet.
- Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Let this simmer for about 5 minutes, letting all those flavors deepen.
- In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce, just enough to coat the bottom.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Top with half of the remaining meat sauce, then sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over it.
- Repeat the layers, finishing off with the remaining cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, until everything is heated through and that cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegetarian version, skip the meat or use sautéed mushrooms, zucchini, or lentils. You can also experiment with different cheeses or spices to suit your taste.
