Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Seasoned salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients.
  2. Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and garlic powder. Be careful not to overmix; just combine until everything is lightly blended.
  4. Form the mixture into three patties, handling the meat as little as possible to keep them tender.
  5. Brush olive oil onto both sides of each patty, then sprinkle with seasoned salt.
  6. Place the patties on the hot grill, cooking them until no longer pink in the center, approximately 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) in the center.

Notes

To avoid sticky burgers, keep your hands oiled when shaping the patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while grilling.
