Description

A warm, gooey Pesto Grilled Cheese packed with flavor, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread (your favorite kind)
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of pesto
  • Butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Spread pesto generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, pesto side up, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the cheese of your choice on top of the bread.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top, pesto side down.
  5. Butter the outside of the bread.
  6. Grill until golden brown, then flip to grill the other side until the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra crispy exterior, use a mix of butter and olive oil when grilling. Let cheese come to room temperature for even melting.
