Ingredients

- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add the shredded chicken, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth; stir to combine.
- Stir in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; watch the spices bloom.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Stir in lime juice before serving.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro.
