Description

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon honey plus more for serving
  • 0.25 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 lemon zested (optional)
  • 4 bread slices
  • 4 strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, egg, honey, cinnamon, and lemon zest (if using) until smooth.
  3. Spoon the custard mixture into the center of each slice of bread.
  4. Top with sliced strawberries, piling them generously.
