Description

A simple and safe recipe for delicious edible chocolate chip cookie dough, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings without the risk of raw ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 grams)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup butter (salted or unsalted, softened)
  • 24 tbsp milk (more or less as needed)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt (omit if using salted butter)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Microwave the flour in 20-second intervals until it reaches 165°F, about 40-60 seconds, or bake on a baking sheet in a preheated 350°F oven for 3-5 minutes. Whisk or sift to remove lumps and let cool.
  2. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the cooled flour, vanilla, and salt. Gradually mix in milk, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, and enjoy!

Notes

For a firmer dough, chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Can add various mix-ins like nuts or toffee bits.
