Description

A cozy and delicious meatloaf featuring tender ground chicken blended with garlic and rich Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, finely chopped onion, egg, milk, Italian seasoning, and a generous sprinkle of salt and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything together.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Brush the top of the loaf with ketchup and drizzle olive oil over it.
  5. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans for a comforting meal. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days.
