- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Crumble ground turkey into the skillet and cook until it turns golden brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to season.
- Stir in diced potatoes, cover the skillet, and let simmer for 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Fold in frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes to warm through.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
