Description

Delightful and spooky Halloween Spider Cupcakes that are perfect for any festive gathering!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 baked Chocolate Cupcakes
  • 3 cups chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup white frosting
  • Black food coloring
  • 24 toy spider rings

Instructions

  1. Fill cupcake liners a little less than 2/3 full with batter and bake as per recipe. Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
  2. Make chocolate frosting by adding black food coloring until desired hue is achieved.
  3. Frost cooled cupcakes with a thin layer of black frosting.
  4. Pipe two white circles in the center of each cupcake and add a dot in the center of each circle.
  5. Use a toothpick to pull lines from the center dot to the edge to create a spiderweb design.
  6. Top each cupcake with a toy spider ring for the festive touch.

Notes

For an extra effect, consider sprinkling edible glitter on the frosting.
