- 24 baked Chocolate Cupcakes
- 3 cups chocolate frosting
- 1 cup white frosting
- Black food coloring
- 24 toy spider rings
Instructions
- Fill cupcake liners a little less than 2/3 full with batter and bake as per recipe. Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
- Make chocolate frosting by adding black food coloring until desired hue is achieved.
- Frost cooled cupcakes with a thin layer of black frosting.
- Pipe two white circles in the center of each cupcake and add a dot in the center of each circle.
- Use a toothpick to pull lines from the center dot to the edge to create a spiderweb design.
- Top each cupcake with a toy spider ring for the festive touch.
Notes
For an extra effect, consider sprinkling edible glitter on the frosting.
