Description

Crispy, golden-brown biscuits filled with savory ground beef and melty cheese, these cheeseburger turnovers are a quick and satisfying meal sure to please everyone.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans of refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
  • 8 slices of American cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper; drain excess grease.
  2. Flatten canned biscuits.
  3. Put one heaping tablespoon of ground beef in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Fold cheese slices in half and place on top of the beef.
  5. Top with another biscuit and seal the edges with a fork. Prick the top with a fork.
  6. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with milk.
  8. Bake at 425°F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Notes

Let them bake on a preheated baking sheet for an extra crispy finish.
