Description

A delightful Garlic Parmesan Crusted Salmon that brings comfort and warmth, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F or prepare your air fryer at the same temperature. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, and spritz it with cooking spray.
  2. Place the salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down, and pat it dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, shredded Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. In another bowl, melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic, then mix this into your breadcrumb mixture until everything is well coated.
  4. Lightly season the salmon with black pepper. Evenly distribute the breadcrumb mixture on top, gently pressing it down to ensure it sticks.
  5. If you’re baking it, place the salmon in the oven and let it cook for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. If using an air fryer, preheat it for about 4 minutes, then cook until done—it should take around the same time.
  6. Once it’s done, serve immediately alongside your favorite vegetable side dishes.

Notes

For an extra flavor layer, add lemon zest to the breadcrumb mix. Allow salmon to come to room temperature before cooking for more even results.
