Description

A quick and delicious Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe that perfectly balances sweetness and savory flavors, making weeknight dinners special.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Steamed rice, for serving
  • A green vegetable or cucumber salad, for sides

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until combined.
  2. Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated shrimp, cooking until pink and opaque, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  4. If shrimp is cooking too quickly, remove them to a serving dish and thicken the sauce in the skillet.
  5. Pour sauce over shrimp and serve with steamed rice and a cucumber salad.

Notes

For a zesty finish, add lime juice over the dish. Avoid overcooking shrimp for the best texture.
