Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Steamed rice, for serving
- A green vegetable or cucumber salad, for sides
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until combined.
- Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated shrimp, cooking until pink and opaque, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- If shrimp is cooking too quickly, remove them to a serving dish and thicken the sauce in the skillet.
- Pour sauce over shrimp and serve with steamed rice and a cucumber salad.
Notes
For a zesty finish, add lime juice over the dish. Avoid overcooking shrimp for the best texture.
