Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or provolone)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Low carb tortillas or cabbage leaves (for wrapping)
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and green pepper, sautéing until they’re softened and fragrant—about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, roughly another 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until it melts into a gooey mixture.
- Take your low carb tortillas or cabbage leaves, and carefully fill them with the beef and cheese mixture. Roll them up tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Serve warm and enjoy your keto-friendly Philly cheesesteak rolls.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding sliced mushrooms or diced jalapeños. These rolls can be prepared ahead of time and freeze well for future meals.
