Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and light, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, taking care not to over-mix.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Portion the dough into 1.5-ounce balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip half of each cooled cookie into melted chocolate and place on parchment paper to set.
- Drizzle any remaining melted chocolate over the cookies and sprinkle with holly berry decorations.
Notes
