Description
These spooky Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops are a fun and easy Halloween treat that will delight kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
- Green candy melts
- Marshmallows
- Small pretzel rods
- Semisweet chocolate chips
- Candy eyeballs
- Edible red and black markers
- Toothpicks or lollipop sticks
- Colorful straws
- Uncooked rice or oatmeal (for standing)
Instructions
- Melt the green candy melts in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Push the lollipop sticks into the marshmallows, dip in melted candy, and stand upright in a glass with uncooked rice or oatmeal. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes.
- Melt the semisweet chocolate chips until smooth. Dip the tops of each coated marshmallow to create Frankenstein’s hair, dragging the chocolate down to form spikes. Refrigerate for another 5 minutes.
- Break pretzel rods to form tiny bolts and push them into the sides of the marshmallow.
- Use melted chocolate to attach candy eyeballs to the marshmallows.
- Draw a mouth with the black edible marker and a laceration with the red edible marker.
Notes
These pops are great for family fun and can be customized with different designs and colors. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
