Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 ounces short pasta (penne or fusilli)
- Water or broth (enough to cover pasta)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot or skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add pasta and enough water or broth to cover it.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cook until pasta is al dente and most liquid is absorbed, around 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in milk and Parmesan cheese, mixing until creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

To store, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
