Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Swiss or cheddar)
  • ½ cup cooked turkey breast, diced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Evenly place the torn croissant pieces in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, pressing down gently to soak them.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese and diced turkey (if using) over the top.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
