- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Swiss or cheddar)
- ½ cup cooked turkey breast, diced (optional)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Evenly place the torn croissant pieces in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, pressing down gently to soak them.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese and diced turkey (if using) over the top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove plastic wrap and bake for 30-35 minutes, until set and golden.
