- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- Powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until blended.
- In another bowl, combine the vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring until mixed.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until a soft dough forms.
- Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes.
- Scoop the chilled dough and roll it into small balls, then coat each ball in powdered sugar.
- Place the cookies on the baking sheet with ample space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet briefly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
