Healthy and crunchy roasted chickpeas that are quick to prepare, packed with protein and flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon curry
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon za’atar
- 1/2 teaspoon sumac
Instructions
- Rinse the chickpeas in a colander until the water runs clear.
- Using a paper towel, dab the chickpeas to dry them completely and let them sit on a towel for 5 minutes.
- Transfer chickpeas to a bowl, add olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper, and toss until well coated.
- To bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F, spread chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment, and roast for 25 to 30 minutes, shaking every 10 minutes.
- To air fry: Preheat to 390°F, place chickpeas in a single layer, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking every 5 minutes.
Notes
Control moisture and heat for the best crunch. Perfect as a snack or salad topping.
