Ingredients
Scale
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 0.25 cup water
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- In a small bowl, mix together the oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the chicken breasts.

- Place the browned chicken into your slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, mix the water, lemon juice, garlic, and bouillon. Bring it to a boil, then pour this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on Low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on High for 180 minutes (3 hours). About 15 to 30 minutes before it’s finished, add the parsley to the slow cooker.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in lemon juice for a couple of hours before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
