Description

A simple and delicious slow cooker recipe for tender, shredded chicken with savory flavors that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 6 to 8 peperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Add chicken thighs to the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle both packets of au jus gravy mix and ranch dressing mix on top of the chicken.
  3. Add the peperoncini peppers on top.
  4. Top with the stick of butter.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with forks.
  7. Serve over rice, potatoes, or noodles, or for a low-carb option, serve over riced cauliflower.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, sear the chicken before adding it to the slow cooker. Adjust spice levels by adding more peperoncini or hot sauce.
