Description

Delightful chocolatey Spider Oreo Cookies with a spooky twist, perfect for Halloween festivities.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Oreo Cookies
  • Rope Black Licorice (around 24 pieces)
  • 24 Candy Eyes
  • 4 oz White Icing

Instructions

  1. Begin by gently untwisting each Oreo to separate the cookie halves.
  2. Cut the black licorice into approximately 2-inch pieces. You’ll need 8 pieces for each Oreo, which adds up to a total of 96 pieces.
  3. For each separated Oreo, place 4 pieces of the licorice on each side of the cookie where the filling is to create spider legs.
  4. Apply a little white icing on the bottom of the opposite cookie half and press it back onto the cookie to secure the legs.
  5. Use the remaining icing to attach candy eyes on top to create the spider face.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. Get creative with licorice alternatives like gummy worms or pretzel sticks.
