- 12 Oreo Cookies
- Rope Black Licorice (around 24 pieces)
- 24 Candy Eyes
- 4 oz White Icing
Instructions
- Begin by gently untwisting each Oreo to separate the cookie halves.
- Cut the black licorice into approximately 2-inch pieces. You’ll need 8 pieces for each Oreo, which adds up to a total of 96 pieces.
- For each separated Oreo, place 4 pieces of the licorice on each side of the cookie where the filling is to create spider legs.
- Apply a little white icing on the bottom of the opposite cookie half and press it back onto the cookie to secure the legs.
- Use the remaining icing to attach candy eyes on top to create the spider face.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. Get creative with licorice alternatives like gummy worms or pretzel sticks.
