Description

A comforting family dinner featuring jumbo pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta and fresh spinach, topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus more for topping)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well blended.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
