A quick and cozy steak and shrimp stir fry, perfect for busy weeknights, packed with protein and vibrant veggies.

- 1.5 lbs. Flank Steak
- 1 lb. frozen Medium waterfront shrimp (raw, peeled, deveined, tail off)
- 1 package Bens Original Jasmine Ready Rice Side Dish (8.5 oz)
- 1 tsp. olive oil (for cooking)
- 1/3 cup (95g) Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
- 1 package Stir-Fry Broccoli (12 oz.)
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup (140g) Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tbsp. Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak into strips against the grain.
- In a resealable bag, combine coconut aminos, toasted sesame oil, lime juice, ground ginger, and garlic powder. Add the steak, seal, and marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Defrost the shrimp in a bowl of warm water.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add marinated steak, and sear for about 3 minutes on each side. Set aside.
- Add defrosted shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, steam the stir-fry broccoli in water for 3-5 minutes until fork-tender.
- Add broccoli, remaining coconut aminos, and Dijon mustard to the pan and simmer.
- Cook jasmine rice as per package instructions and add it to the pan, mixing well with steak and shrimp.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and optionally sesame seeds or red chili pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
Marinate steak longer for fuller flavor. Feel free to substitute vegetables or proteins as desired.
