Description
Delicious tacos featuring seasoned beef, garlicky honey BBQ sauce, and customizable toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons honey (for creamy drizzle)
- 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce (for creamy drizzle)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (for creamy drizzle)
- 2 to 3 teaspoons sriracha
- Flour tortillas
- Grated cheese
- Cilantro
- Diced avocado
- Salsa
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, BBQ sauce, and additional smoked paprika. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to combine, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, and sriracha for the creamy drizzle.
- Warm flour tortillas and fill each with a scoop of the BBQ beef mixture. Drizzle with creamy sauce and top with grated cheese, cilantro, diced avocado, and salsa.
Notes
For a milder sauce, adjust or skip the sriracha. Feel free to substitute ground beef with shredded chicken or black beans for variation.
