Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400ºF.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- In a separate large bowl, add the ground turkey and break the egg into this bowl. Pour in the breadcrumb mixture and mix gently.
- Shape the mixture into 16 meatballs, each about two tablespoons in size.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Alternatively, preheat your air fryer to 400ºF and cook the meatballs for about 10-12 minutes.
- To cook on the stove, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
Notes
For moist meatballs, do not overmix and gently form the balls without compressing them. You can customize the recipe with fresh herbs or different spices.
