Description

A delicious dish that combines sweet, salty, and savory flavors with salmon filets caramelized in a bourbon glaze and paired with juicy peaches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon filets (68 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the marinade. Let it sit for a few minutes.
  2. Place the salmon filets in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the salmon filets for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the salmon to a baking dish, add sliced peaches, and pour the marinade over the top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the marinade has caramelized.
  8. Serve warm, drizzling with the glaze and garnished with extra peach slices if desired.

Notes

For best results, marinate the salmon for up to 2 hours and use a meat thermometer to ensure the salmon is cooked to 145°F (63°C).
