Description
A quick and flavorful chicken wonton soup made with tender wontons and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 cup ground chicken
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups bok choy, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Mix ground chicken, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place about 1 teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold over to form a triangle, and press to seal.
- Bring chicken broth to a boil in a large pot.
- Add wontons and mushrooms to the broth and cook until the wontons float, about 5 minutes.
- Add bok choy, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
Best eaten fresh on the same day; wrappers soften if they sit. Ensure wontons are sealed tightly to prevent filling from leaking.
